The Texas Longhorns grabbed a win, 4-3, over the Tulane Green Wave at Berthoud College Grounds. Texas second baseman Kyle Schweitzer went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Texas sits in 17th place in the Cliff Gustafson at 16-21.
Schweitzer had a timely hit for Texas in the top of the seventh. With Texas trailing 3-2, he turned a 3-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Texas.
