The Clemson Tigers cut down the Georgia Bulldogs by the score of 11-7, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Matt Akers. Akers went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Tigers. The 20th-place Tigers are 13-24.
