Surrey Thunderbirds starter Jack Reiss turned in a top-notch performance against the San Carlos Pipers at Pipers Grove. The result was a win for the Thunderbirds, 4-2. With the win, Surrey raised its record to 46-20.

Alejandro Morales helped out the Surrey cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher went 1-3.

"I made good pitches, kept the ball out of the middle of the plate for the most part," said Reiss.
