|
Ray Weldon was superb against LSU. The left-hander, who is tied for 6th in the RDL in innings pitched with 37.2, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 5-2 Horned Frogs victory. The Horned Frogs, at 16-20, have now won 4 straight.
Weldon scattered 3 hits over 6.2 innings for the Horned Frogs. With the win, Weldon moves to 2-3 on the year with 43 strikeouts.
