The 2044 season is getting ugly for Rice.

Texas A&M rode a fine outing from starter Casey McCully to victory over the Rice Owls at Sooners Ballpark. The final score was 4-0. McCully, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk.

The Aggies got a lift from designated hitter Adam Bryant who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Ernesto Perez. It was his 12th walk of the season and put Texas A&M in front, 1-0.

"I feel honored to be a part of this team," said McCully.

Texas A&M now has a 3-game win streak.
