Texas A&M right fielder Alexis Rosas played a vital role in his team's 9-2 conquest of Tulane. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Texas A&M. The win was credited to Tyler Behrends in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Gary Cordasco took the loss. At 20-16, Texas A&M is in 10th place in the Cliff Gustafson.

In the top of the seventh, David Rice stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Green Wave were trailing 6-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Kevin Ginger made a terrific pitch and Rice flied out. Gone was the dream of a Tulane comeback.
