Halverson Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Sean Halverson was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Berthoud College Grounds, the Tulane first baseman blistered the Houston Cougars for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 27-6 victory.

"Halverson was too tough to get out," Cougars skipper Derrick Cable said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
