Pryor Helps Golden Eagles Beat Cougars, 7-3
The South Mississippi Golden Eagles defeated the Washington State Cougars, 7-3, in part because of left fielder Josh Pryor. Pryor hit 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times for the Golden Eagles. South Mississippi is now 22-13.

South Mississippi used a well-timed hit by John Crabtree to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Golden Eagles ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Crabtree said his team "played with focus."
