Martinsburg catcher Juan Madera helped his team beat the Victory Lakes Crawfish, 5-4. Madera went 2 for 4 for the Maulers. Martinsburg reliever Jonathan Pagan picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Cris Cantu was saddled with the loss. David Salgado picked up his 7th save of the season.

Right Fielder Josh Costa made an impact for Martinsburg, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Cris Cantu in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Costa was 2-4 with a double.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Costa said after the game.

Martinsburg now sits at 34-29, while Victory Lakes falls to 23-40.
