Sanner Leads South Mississippi to 6-1 Win
South Mississippi Golden Eagles starter Jared Sanner pitched a strong game against the TCU Horned Frogs at Dingoes Ballpark, leading the Golden Eagles to victory, 6-1. South Mississippi is in 5th place in the Cliff Gustafson with a record of 20-13.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Sanner. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Golden Eagles. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Horned Frogs, striking out 7 and scattering 4 hits over 7 innings. Sanner is now 3-0 on the season.

"Jared did a tremendous job," said South Mississippi manager John Inglis.
