Fans who came to South Paris College Grounds watched the LSU Tigers and the Arizona Wildcats fight to the finish.

In a low-scoring clash between LSU and Arizona, pitcher Josh Brown was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for LSU in the 3-2 win. Brown got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. Brown allowed 2 earned runs.

LSU designated hitter Zach Banyas contributed to the cause with a single in the bottom of the third. For the game, Banyas was 1 for 3 with a walk.
