Extra-Inning Win by Leprechauns Over Werewolves
The Royal Oak Leprechauns defeated the Ft. Worth Werewolves, 13-4, in 11 innings. Doing his part was first baseman Alfredo Cruz, who went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The win went to Willie Aguilar in relief. His record improves to 6-3. Jordan Cortez took the loss. The last-place Leprechauns improved to 25-31.

Tim McCay was 1 for 2 with 3 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Royal Oak. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jordan Cortez. It was his 26th walk of the season.
