Late Rally by Atlantics Locks Up 8-7 Win
The inspired effort of Saint John shortstop Jeff Crosby was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-7, to the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics. Crosby went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win gives Cuautitlan Izcalli a season record of 32-25.

The decisive blow was delivered by Antonio Osorio in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Toshihiro Otake to win the game for Cuautitlan Izcalli. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd went nuts," Osorio said.
