Cruz Excels, But Falcons Win
Despite a fine performance by shortstop Jerry Cruz, the Media Luna Marlins lost to the River Falls Falcons, 14-13. Cruz went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Tony Munoz earned the save for River Falls, his 15th of the year. The Falcons move to 32-21 with the win, while the Marlins drop to 29-25.

Harvey Reyes went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for River Falls. The 20-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 13-13 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jorge Alvarez. It was his 32nd RBI of the season.
