Jose Salazar pitched well, but his team, the Aiken Thoroughbreds, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Victory Lakes Crawfish at Crawfish Grounds. Tyler Starr earned the save for Victory Lakes, his 1st. The loss makes Aiken 43-8.

The Crawfish got a big at-bat from center fielder Brett Meyer. For the game, Meyer was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Victory Lakes a 3-1 lead.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Crawfish," said Meyer.
