Titans Ballpark was the site for Skip Bertman League action featuring the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had no problem beating the Alabama Crimson Tide, 16-2, at Titans Ballpark. Mark Carrozza, who is tied for 2nd in the SBL in triples with 3, led the onslaught. He went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs for Ohio State. With the win, the Buckeyes have a record of 19-10.

Early in the game, designated hitter Justin Driver had a 2-run home run for Ohio State. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Buckeyes on top, 3-1.

"They slugged us," said losing manager Omar McKoy. "They slugged us hard."
