The Oregon State Beavers topped the LSU Tigers, 7-1, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Palisades Ballpark. The player of the game was Oregon State designated hitter Tim Kladis. The Beavers go to 16-12, putting them 4th in the Cliff Gustafson.

Kladis had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Beavers went on to win.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Kladis told the Oregon State Observer.
