Perez Powers Titans Offense
|
David Perez led Tulsa to a win over Oak Park. The final score was 6-1. The center fielder had a huge performance. He whacked 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. The winner was Tulsa reliever Osamu Nishimura, now 2-1. The loser was Bobby Cintron. Danny Canales recorded the save for Tulsa, his 1st of the season.
With Tulsa leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Perez came up to bat against Oak Park pitcher Bobby Cintron. Perez hit a fastball to right for a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season put the Titans on top, 3-1.
"We looked pretty good up and down," said Tulsa manager Ezra Boudouani.
The 4th-place Titans lifted their record to 25-25.
