Fonnesbeck Delivers Walk-Off Win for Red Wings
|
Though he had a stellar game, Jerry Diaz could not prevent his team, the Kingston Beats, from losing, 5-4, to the Estación Juanita Red Wings. Diaz went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Heriberto Gomez was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Diego Alanis. Estación Juanita, with the win, is 16-31.
Mike Fonnesbeck was the walk-off hero for Estación Juanita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Wings third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
