The Kingston Beats defeated the Estación Juanita Red Wings, 5-4, at Red Wings Grove. Kingston was led by 19-year old center fielder Francisco Cotto, who hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Diego Alanis wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. The win makes Kingston 11-33.

Miguel Fuentes came through with a big-time hit for Kingston. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I liked our effort," said Beats manager David Duarte.
