The Brighton Steelhounds and starting pitcher Angelo Rivera stifled the Saint John offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at Steelhounds Grounds. The Steelhounds now have a record of 32-12.

Rivera earned the win, going 7.1 strong innings for Brighton. The native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Saint John hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Rivera.
