Cucamonga Squelch Rattlers Offense in Shutout Win
At Steelers Park, the Mojave Rattlers and Rancho Cucamonga were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Rancho starter Charlie Graef kept the Mojave offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his slider in leading the Cucamonga to a 4-0 win. The Cucamonga saw their record improve to 13-29.

The tension was thick in the top of the sixth inning. With the bases loaded and Mojave trailing 4-0, Charlie Graef had to get a big out. On a 2-2 slider, he retired Edgar Diaz, who struck out.
