The River Falls Falcons overcame a pretty good performance by Cuautitlan Izcalli third baseman Eddie Jiminez, beating the Atlantics, 5-4, at Atlantics Grove. Jiminez was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The save went to Nate Scott, number 1 for him. The Falcons are now 25-18, while the Atlantics fall to 23-19.
Victor Ramirez drew 1 walk for River Falls. The 20-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Gustavo Serna. It was his 10th RBI of the season.
