McArdle Blasts Mounties, Warriors Take Game 4, 13-3
Walnut Creek first baseman Kevin McArdle was the difference-maker for the Warriors in what turned into a shootout with the Montreal Mounties. McArdle earned accolades after going 4-for-5 in the 13-3 Warriors win. With the victory, the Warriors moved into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the first. That's when McArdle hit a changeup from Sandy Briseno for a 2-run home run, putting Walnut Creek up, 2-0.

"Things kind of got away from us," said Montreal skipper Julián Martínez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Castlerock Field in Walnut Creek.
