Series Lead Cut to 1 for Walnut Creek After 8-1 Loss
The Pennsylvania Butterflies have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Walnut Creek Warriors, winning, 8-1, at The Kaleidoscope. Butterflies catcher Paul Brew III went 3-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win cuts the deficit facing the Butterflies to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

Brew III had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Butterflies went on to win.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Brew III.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Kaleidoscope in Philadelphia.
