Werewolves Earn Win with Late Rally
The timely hitting of Ed Sanches helped the Ft. Worth Werewolves down the Rancho Cucamonga, 5-4. Sanches went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Werewolves. The Cucamonga, now 10-28, have lost 5 in a row.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 21-year old center fielder Wan-fang Zhou had a chance to be the hero. Rancho pitcher Mario de la Cruz wanted to foil that plan. But with two outs, Zhou drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Werewolves had themselves a thrilling win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Zhou.
