Crawfish Pull Out Late-Game Win, 7-6
Despite a pedestrian performance by starting pitcher Nelson Huete, the Victory Lakes Crawfish still won the game, 7-6, over the Mojave Rattlers at Rattlers Field. The save was credited to Bobby Gonzalez, his 3rd. Victory Lakes is now 20-17, Mojave 19-20.

Bobby Valenzuela came through with a big-time hit for Victory Lakes. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Huete. "Successful pitchers do it."
