The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Aiken Thoroughbreds, 9-6, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was third baseman Dan Wooten, who was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The win moves Toronto into a 1-1 tie with Aiken in the series.

Fred Scott hit a bases-clearing double off Jeong Shin in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Blue Jays in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Scott had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Wooten.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Aiken Stadium in Aiken.
