Tyler Williams never let the Crimson Tide get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Sycamores to a 4-1 win. Wade DesMarais picked up the save, his 3rd. The Sycamores' win now puts them at 10-11.

Devon Wheeler chipped in for Indiana State, stroking a crucial 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"This team is capable of getting on a roll," said Indiana State skipper Isei Azuma.
