At Surfers Ballpark, the Ole Miss Rebels and Stanford Cardinals were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Stanford Cardinals scored a convincing win at Surfers Ballpark, defeating the Ole Miss Rebels, 11-0. One of the hitting stars was Seth Clark, who is tied for 10th in the RDL in hits with 28, who was 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 6. Kevin Grisham, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 8 and walking 1.
Early in the game, Clark had a 2-run home run for Stanford. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Cardinals on top, 2-0.
"Not much to say," Ole Miss manager Ernesto OrtÃz said, when asked afterward about the defeat.
Stanford, at 7-13, sits in 21st place in the Cliff Gustafson.
