The Tulane Green Wave downed the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns, 5-2, at Field of the Dukes. The Green Wave were led by Jason Forsythe. Forsythe was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Bobby Thompson recorded the save, his 3rd. With the win, Tulane upped its record to 9-9.

Tulane used a well-timed hit by Ryan Quigley to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Green Wave ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

Tulane manager Taylor Longbottom called it "a good, solid win."
