Jairo Padilla was superb against Kingston. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the RLA with a 11.2 K/9 rate, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Alpines victory. The score was 4-3. The losses continue to mount for Kingston, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Jared Hilburn had a game-changing hit. The Alpines catcher slammed a 2-run single off Dan Devaney, making the score 4-1, Saint John.
