Hamilton goes 3-for-5 in Hurricanes Win
The Miami Hurricanes beat the Ohio State Buckeyes, 10-6, at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Ben Hamilton, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Hurricanes now have a record of 10-7.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the second inning. Facing Ohio State hurler Kenny Wilhite, Kevin Wicker, who is tied for 3rd in the SBL with a .429 batting average, drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Hurricanes went on to win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Hurricanes manager Orlando Durango. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
