Gamecocks Drop 5-0 Decision
|
Behind the hitting of Jaheim Sewell, the Tennessee Volunteers stopped the South Carolina Gamecocks, 5-0. Sewell was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Volunteers. Tennessee is now 10-7, while South Carolina is 8-9.
Luke Tharp, who is tied for 4th in the SBL in bases on balls with 21, helped out the Tennessee cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 2 with a double and 3 walks.
