Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Tar Heels
The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Iowa State Cyclones, 9-8, in Skip Bertman League action at Bruisers Ballpark, with North Carolina designated hitter Frank Donaldson named player of the game. Iowa State has now lost 5 in a row.

Donaldson had the big at-bat for North Carolina. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly, giving North Carolina the 9-8 win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Donaldson. "I like it."
