Pipers Come Back Late to Top Werewolves, 6-4
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the San Carlos Pipers and Ft. Worth Werewolves.

Luis Rojas had an impact in the 6-4 San Carlos win over Ft. Worth. The 18-year old catcher went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Omar Moreno collected his 1st save.

San Carlos took a 5-4 lead on Kun Er's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Er hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Ft. Worth pitcher Chris Pirela visibly frustrated.

San Carlos manager Chris Santacroce said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The Pipers, with only their 6th win in 32 games, have not had much to write home about in 2064.
