Hurricanes Get Past Clemson for 3-2 Win
In a low-scoring affair between the Miami Hurricanes and the Clemson Tigers, pitcher Darius Miller was the difference between victory and defeat. The Miami right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 Hurricanes win. The slumping Tigers have lost 6 straight.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Brian Derickson came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Clemson pitcher Sam Baxter, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Miami on top, 3-2.

Miller said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
