Neuenschwander Pops Two Homers in 14-8 Win for Fresno State
Getting offensive support from Jacob Neuenschwander, the Fresno State Bulldogs topped the Stanford Cardinals, 14-8. Neuenschwander was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Bulldogs. Mike Cornwell earned save number 1 this season. Stanford has now lost 4 straight.

Ramon Contreras had a big grand slam home run for the Bulldogs in the bottom of the second inning. With Fresno State leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Nick Jones and swatted a home run to left. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bulldogs ahead, 7-0.
