Georgia rode a good effort from starter Dustin Laughery to beat the Iowa State Cyclones at Field of the Plunder. The final score was 7-2. Laughery went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. At 8-7, Georgia is in 10th place in the Ron Fraser Division.
