Bears Come Up Short at Oregon State, 6-5
The Oregon State Beavers defeated the Baylor Bears, 6-5, at Palisades Ballpark. Oregon State left fielder Kevin Schwartz had a superb performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Beavers have an impressive 10-5 record.

Eli Neff went 1 for 4 with a walk for Oregon State. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off David Krivak. It was his 12th walk of the season.

"I like our moxie," said Beavers manager Josh Pember.
