The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Mojave Rattlers, 9-4, at Exhibition Stadium. German Silva, who is tied for 3rd in the TLA in extra base hits with 20, starred for Toronto. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Greg Argila wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. The Blue Jays, now 28-1, have had a terrific start to the season.

Silva contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Toronto get the win.

"I like our clubhouse vibe," said Toronto manager Bryan Fulcher.
