Win Makes Wildcats 7-7
|
Arizona pitcher Nick Pindell had a large part in his team beating the Stanford Cardinals, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Joey Huff picked up the win in relief for Arizona, while Kevin Grisham took the loss. Benny Wright earned save number 5 this season.
Arizona used the hitting of Lance Brown to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wildcats on top, 3-0. For the game, Brown had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
