Big Day for Mack in 7-4 Ragin Cajuns Win

Louisiana-Layfayette and Baylor duked it out and the Ragin Cajuns came out victorious.
Brian Mack knocked in 4 runs to help Louisiana-Layfayette beat Baylor, 7-4. The Allentown, Pennsylvania native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. The Ragin Cajuns boast a remarkable 12-2 record.
Louisiana-Layfayette used the timely hitting of Jason Shannon to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
"We're trying to go out there and win games," Mack told the Louisiana-Layfayette Daily, "and we played pretty well tonight."
