Blue Jays Get 6th Straight Win with Late Rally
Toronto designated hitter Brian Ruddock helped his team beat the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics, 8-5. Ruddock, who is tied for 10th in the TLA in runs scored with 23, went 2 for 4 for the Blue Jays. Jeff Ferguson claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 1-0. Earning his 1st save for Toronto was Greg Argila.

Manuel Valdez helped out the Toronto cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher was 1-4 with a walk.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Ruddock told the Toronto Daily.

With the loss, Cuautitlan Izcalli falls to 12-11.
