The Fresno State Bulldogs blasted the LSU Tigers, 17-5. Josh Brindamour was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-6 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4 for Fresno State. Fresno State pitcher Mike Bailey got the win. He's now 1-0. Jesus Cintron was tagged with the loss. The Bulldogs, at 8-4, have now won 4 straight.

In the top of the first, 19-year old shortstop Shawn Shorter hit a 3-run home run. The 3rd home run of the season for the Fresno State shortstop put the Bulldogs on top, 3-0.
