Cordero Leads Longhorns to Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Texas Longhorns and Baylor Bears.

Led by Juan Cordero, the Texas Longhorns downed the Baylor Bears, 10-7. Cordero went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Longhorns. Texas pitcher George Brewer got the win. He's now 1-0. Ryan Ostrander was tagged with the loss.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Longhorns grabbed the lead when Cordero hit his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ryan Ostrander made it 8-5, Texas.

"We'll build on this win," said Cordero.

The win has Texas at 4-6.
