Arias, Alpines Beat Stars Like Rented Mule
The rain came, as predicted, but the Saint John Alpines and Arlington Stars were able to complete their ballgame.

The Saint John Alpines handed the Arlington Stars a sound defeat, 23-1, at Alpines Field. Alex Arias, who is tied for 9th in the RLA in home runs with 5, was a main contributor to the win. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 4 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for Saint John. Aaron Ashe, the winning pitcher, is now 1-0. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while fanning 10 and walking 2.
