The Rancho Cucamonga defeated the River Falls Falcons, 5-3, in TML LA action at Falcons Field. Rancho pitcher Ricky Gonzalez had a standout performance. Rancho is now 7-9.
Rancho used the hitting of Eric Wilson to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Cucamonga on top, 4-0. For the game, Wilson had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"Ricky did a good job of managing their lineup," said Rancho manager Tony Vargas.
