In the 6-3 Auburn win over Miami, the impact of Joe Sewell was substantial. Sewell went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and a walk. The loss drops the Hurricanes to 3-6.

It could have been a different outcome for Auburn, had it not been for Brandon Fuller, the 20-year old first baseman . Fuller contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Auburn up, 5-2.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Auburn manager Sean Clark. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
