Salukis Jolt Cowboys with Late Rally
The South Illinois Salukis defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 4-3, in Skip Bertman League action at Canaries Ballpark, with South Illinois pitcher Tom Paliwoda named player of the game. The Salukis, now 7-2, have hit the ground running this season.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With no one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Jonathan Johnson, hit a double. It helped South Illinois seize the win.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Oklahoma State manager Jordan Hay, "let me know."
