Mojave pitcher Marco Adames had a large part in his team beating the Victory Lakes Crawfish, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the loss, Victory Lakes drops to 6-10.

Antonio Corral had a big 3-run home run for the Rattlers in the bottom of the second inning. With Mojave leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Billy Beltran and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Rattlers on top, 5-0.

"Feels good to get the job done," Adames said after the game.
