|
Sonny Hankinson led Rice to a win over Baylor. The final score was 9-7. The second baseman collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. The save was credited to Dylan Richardson, his 2nd. With the win, Rice is 3-4.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Hankinson delivered big-time for Rice, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Greg Myers. The game-changing hit put the Owls on top, 9-7.
